California Labor Laws

Is Your Teen Being Made to Work in Violation of California Labor Laws?

While the vast majority of fast food restaurants and mall stores rely on the low cost services of teens for employees, there are many California labor laws in place to protect them. These laws cover everything from the type of work they can do to the number of hours they can work and how late they can actually work on a school night.

While these California labor laws exist to protect teens, far too many employers still try and force their teenage employees to work outside of these laws. They often do this by telling them that if they won’t do it, someone else can be hired who will. If you think that your teen is being taken advantage of by his employer, you need to contact the California Wage Law Attorney and let us take care of making his employer toe the line.
